This carefully created tour is perfect for all of you who are food & wine lovers, but especially for those who want to get to know the old Split through stories and great “marenda” – a traditional late morning meal in Dalmatian towns and cities . It is consumed around 10 am, or perhaps later, and the international version of this local expression is ˝brunch˝!
This tour is organized in cooperation with the Tourist Board Split-Dalmatia County.
During the first part of the tour, you will walk through the streets of Varoš, known for its labyrinth of narrow streets, medieval churches and white stone houses scattered on the slopes of the Marjan hill. You will get to know the autochthonous Dalmatian way of life, which you can feel and experience first hand.
During the next part of the tour you will visit a charming taverna where you will enjoy traditional “marenda” dish!
